Born with severe haemophilia B in Busia, Kenya. Doctors said I’d never walk again. Today I’m changing lives across East Africa.
At 18, I was told: “You’ll be in a wheelchair forever. No job. No family. Just survive.”
I refused to accept that fate.
In 2022, with a cracked phone and zero budget, I started filming myself learning to self-infuse factor IX. Uploaded to YouTube as “How to HemoShujaa”.
Today, 1,000+ subscribers in 47 countries learn life-saving skills from my videos. Mothers in villages now infuse their sons at 2 AM because of what I taught them.
I don’t just live with haemophilia — I lead with it.
